Can i commission artwork?

Absolutely! I would love to create an original piece of work for your home, office, or design project. Please contact me to schedule a consultation and further discuss your needs.

Do you sell prints of your artwork?

Yes! Each print is derived from a high resolution digital image of an original abstract painting. We specialize in creating the highest quality fine art prints, true to its original colours. All printing is done in studio. Each artwork is printed on the highest quality archival matte paper.

How is my artwork going to be shipped?

All artwork is shipped professionally packed with protective packing material. All paintings will arrive stretched and ready to hang on premium gallery stretched canvas. Should you prefer other shipping options, please contact me to discuss.

Located in or near the Ottawa/Nations Capital area? For local deliveries Iā€™m happy to deliver your artwork (ready to hang) to you personally. Please contact me to make arrangements.

What is the cost of shipping?

Canada & the U.S.

Artwork is shipped via Canada Post. Shipping cost is free for all domestic orders (Canada and the U.S.). Currency is shown in Canadian dollars (CAD).

International orders

Shipping cost will be added to the cost of the artwork. The shipping cost will be determined by the size of the artwork and your location. Following purchase I will connect with you to arrange. Artwork will be shipped via Canada Post |UPS| or FedEx depending on rates.

For international sales (including the U.S.), any taxes, custom duties and fees that may occur in the receiving country are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact your local customs authorities if you wish to inquire further about the rules in your country that pertain to importing original artwork.

when will my artwork arrive?

Orders usually ship out within 3-5 business days of your purchase.

Canada and the U.S - Please allow 2-3 weeks for standard shipping.

Rest of the World - Please allow 3-5 weeks for standard shipping.

Depending on your region and the time of year, some artworks may be delayed due to customs and holidays.

what happens if my artwork is damaged or lost?

In the case of a lost package, please contact your local post office for assistance. Maureen Doody is not responsible for lost or damaged packages once they have been shipped.

If a package is returned to me because the buyer provided the wrong address or has not claimed the package after the delivery attempt, a refund will not be issued. The buyer must repay the shipping costs before the item can be shipped again.

In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged product, with the exception of damages incurred during transit, a refund or exchange is possible. Please contact me within 2 days of receiving your purchase, with images and a description of the damage. Before a refund or exchange is possible, the defective product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, at the expense of the buyer. As each of my pieces are original artworks, there may be additional wait time before receiving a replacement.

what is your return policy?

Your satisfaction with your purchase and experience is of the utmost importance to me. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with questions or concerns and we will try and find a solution to the situation any way I can. Due to the one of a kind nature of the work, I typically do not accept returns or make exchanges. Please make sure to read product descriptions, dimensions, & shipping policies carefully before completing your purchase.

Please note that I, Maureen Doody, hold all rights to my artwork. This includes sold and unsold originals, commissions and prints. I do not permit my artwork to be resold or reproduced for profit, without my written permission. I retain the right to reproduce any piece of artwork I make.
